TURKEY is the cradle of many civilisations,
but in the meantime the cradle of Christianity. Our country
has hosted important people of all faiths (Judaism, Christianity and
Islam) since thousand of years; and their believers continue to live
matchless harmoniously together still today.

11:26).

The Seven Churches of Asia Minor (Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis,
Philadelphia, Laodicea, and Ephesus) in Revelation 2-3 are in our
Area all around Izmir.

St Paul preached some of his first sermons in Ephesus near Izmir
our Hometown.

Virgin Mary spent her last days of her life in her house near Ephesus.

Polycarp of Smyrna, today Izmir, was one of the first Christian
martyrs.

St Philipp lived in Hierapolis at Pamukkale in south-western Turkey.

Nicea of the Nicean Creed was the site of two ecumenical councils.

Hagia Sophia in Istanbul was the largest church of its time, once
serving as the center for Christianity.

Paul of Tarsus spent years in the Churches throughout Asia Minor.

played very important rolls in diffuse of Christanity, were
all established in our region! Many groups from different Nations
of the world are visiting this important places through all
year... Mother Maria has spend her last days here in SELÇUK.
Also Mrs Clinton and Papst VI. has been here and this house
is accepted by VATIKAN as PILGRIMAGE-Place, where every year
on 15th August on the big celebration thousands of Christians

Meet and assist in the İZMİR airport;
transfer to the hotel; dinner & overnight. |
| 2nd
Day: |
Continue to PERGAMUM (Revelation 2:12-17),
visit ACROPOLIS. Temple of Athena, Library, Royal Palace, Temple
of Trajan, the sleepest Theather of the ancient world; Altar
of Zeus. Continue to THYATIRA (Revelation 2:18-29) which was
a commercial center on the highway between Troy and Sardes.
Visit the remains of a church. Return to İZMİR; dinner and overnight. |

Day: |
Early departure for city tour of İZMİR;
ancient SMYRNA (Revelation 2:8-11), visit ancient Agora and
Alexander the Great's Castle on Mounth Pagus overlooking İzmir.
Depart from İzmir to EPHESUS, veritable cradle of early Christianty
(revelation 1:1;2:1-7), visit the shrine of VIRGIN MARY where
supposedly she spend her last days, Proceed to spectacular ruins
from the period of St.Paul; see Odeon, Fountains, Temples, Library,
Great Theather, Double Church and Stadium. Visit the archeological
Museum, Mosque İSABEY, St.John's Basilica and his Tomb, Temple
of Artemis (one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, but
unfortunately with very scanty rests of it.) Continue to PAMUKKALE
for dinner and overnight. |

Day: |
Early morning start with the wonderful
formations of stalacties and watch the cataracts falling into
Basin at the bottom of the Mountain. Continue the tour with
the ancient city of HIERAPOLIS, the architectural genius of
the Plutonium Theather and the magnificently well preserved
Necropolis. There is year round swimming possibility in the
natural hot spring pools. Then see the ancient city of LAODECIA,
home of ZENON and city of rich people. Visit one of the seven
churches of the Apocalypse (Revelation 3:7-13) to visit the
scanty remains of the Cathedral. Visit the SARDES (Revelation
3:1-6), capital of the ancient Lydia. See the Temple of Cybele
and Diana which later become a church, the Golden River (Pactalos)
and the royal road. Then visit the reconstructed synagogue and
continue to İzmir for dinner and overnignt. |

its blue İZNİK tiles; St.SOPHIA Museum and TOPKAPI Palace, the
great saraglio of the Ottoman Sultans where you can see the
imperial treasury, the unique collection of silverware and Chinese
porcelains offered to the Ottoman Sultans; drive to KARIYE Museum,
church of the St.Saviour in Chora (known for its well preserved
mosaics and frescoes). Then visit the Grand Bazaar where you
will have to opportunity to purchase souvenirs, jewellery, copperware
and Turkish carpets. Dinner & overnight in İstanbul. |

Visit the spice Bazaar before taking
a cruise along the Bosphorus. After disembarking at the village
close to the entrance of the Black Sea, Sarıyer, drive over
the suspansion Bosphorus Bridge to the Asiatic side of İstanbul
where you see the highest hill of İstanbul called Çamlıca to
enjoy a very impressive panoramic view of the city. Return to
hotel; dinner and overnight. |

Early departure for BURSA, visit the
Green Mosque , Green Mausoleum, old Silk Market and Grand Mosque.
Dinner and overnight in AYVALIK or BERGAMA. |
